Pink Fire Opal, 2 Pcs 11mm 48ss Round Vintage West German, Glass Cabochons with Setting

Vintage West German Pink Fire Opal Glass Cabochon Sew On. These stones are set in jewelry quality 4 pronged, open back, sew on silver plated settings. There are 4 holes close to the base of the setting - 2 on 2 'sides'.  (Does not include finished jewelry shown as examples). Listing price is for two pieces  - number of pieces in the photos shown just for variety.

These are approximately 11mm round/48ss and have exceptional color flashes of pinks and golds and a little blue. They have a smooth shiny dome, and pointed, uncoiled back. I believe these were handmade in the 50's and 60's to look as much like real opal as possible.  No two stones are totally alike - pale milky pink glass, with some having more gold, or more pink, or even blue specks. I will do my best to send stones that closely match, but they will not be EXACT matches.
