"Ring Durability - How long will my wire wrapped ring last?"

While my rings are definitely not your average flimsy delicate wire wrapped ring, they are not indestructible. Some of mine are heavier than others, like the Alexandrite - all metal rings (no crystals to chip or crack). Also the larger the size, the heavier I make them.

My rings hold up really well, but some of it does depend on how hard you are on them. I have 2 I wear on my left hand, day in and day out, though I do take them off for harsh things like yard work or house work with strong chemicals. I also take them off, if I'm going to get really grungy, like working on the car or in my  fish pond. Because the bands are beaded, they will collect dirt, but cleaning is easy with a soft toothbrush and dawn dishwashing liquid.

"What if I don't know my ring size?"

If you don't know your ring size, or haven't checked in many years - please don't 'guess'! Check out this listing for an inexpensive option to find your size - Reusable Ring Sizer

"I ordered the wrong ring size, can I send it back and get another one?"

With very few exceptions, each ring is custom made for the purchaser. They are not pre-made stock - I can't just put one back, and send another. That is why I emphasize in numerous places, to be very sure of your ring size before ordering, as it cannot be resized, or simply returned, exchanged, or refunded. If you decide/discover that you ordered the wrong ring size - I can remake the ring. The minimum cost is $50.00 to cover loss of materials (the ring has to be completely cut apart) and labor. Please contact me for details.

"What if my ring (jewelry) is damaged or defective?"

If your ring (jewelry) has issues: Send me a message with photos, so I can see what the problem is. If it IS my fault, I will have you send the ring (jewelry) back to me for repair or replacement - send me the tracking number and shipping cost (standard USPS 1st Class with tracking) and I will refund the return shipping as soon as I can verify the tracking number. I will repair or remake the ring (jewelry), and ship back to you (at my expense) as soon as possible - usually just a couple days. If the issue/damage IS NOT my fault, send me a message, and we'll discuss what, if anything can be done and the cost. Shipping both ways on repair/replacements that are not my fault, are the responsibility of the buyer.

"Can I sell what I make using your tutorials?"

Yes you may sell items made using my tutorials. Please keep in mind though - you may NOT represent the work as your own idea, and posting where you learned from is greatly appreciated.

"Where are the tutorials I purchased, I can't find the download link?"

The download link was available immediately after purchasing, and sent to you with your purchase confirmation. If you can't find the email, or otherwise have trouble finding your purchase, don't hesitate to contact me, and I'll resend the purchase receipt.

"The download links to my tutorial purchase expired - or my computer died, do I have to re-purchase the tutorials?"

Absolutely not! If your tutorial links expire, your computer dies, or you just can't find them on your computer, don't hesitate to holler, and I'll be happy to refresh the links, and resend the original email.

If your question isn't covered here, don't hesitate to post a comment, or holler at me through the Contact Me page.

  • I really like the Alexandrite marquise wide band ring. Are you going to make a tutorial for the wide band ring? I have several larger stones that would require a wider band. If you do make the tutorial, please let me know and I will buy it. I have learned so much from your tutorials. Thank you so much. Mary Ann Tribble
