The original glass pieces are crafted using specialized waterproof adhesives that form a resilient barrier between the optical glass dome and the backing image. To maximize the lifespan of your finished artwork, please follow these guidelines:
* Recommended Extra Protection: Because these are placed in a setting, I highly recommend applying a thin layer of G-S Hypo Cement around the back edges of the metal setting before finishing your jewelry piece to completely seal it.
* Moisture Disclaimer: While highly water-resistant, these components are not meant to be fully submerged. Remove finished jewelry or art pieces before swimming, showering, or bathing.
