This entirely handmade ring features a wonderful Rainbow Quartz Doublet checkerboard 8x10mm faceted gemstone. It is a pale opaque white gemstone with a beautiful greenish rainbow moonstone affect - though not quite as green as my photos suggest, I think it partly reflected off my shirt - this is probably one of the toughest stones I have ever tried to photograph! The flashy rainbow effect and my cameras just didn't get along. Colors in the rainbow in this stone include, yellow, green, orange, pink and blue

I hand set these in either a high quality silver or gold plated prong setting (to match or compliment the bands). The rest of the ring is entirely handmade by me, in either 14K GF or Sterling silver wire and beads. ►This stone is extremely limited - I only have a few, and it is longer being made.

What is a quartz doublet? Quartz doublet: is composed of a faceted clear genuine quartz top and bottom; the adhesive that holds the two together provides the beautiful iridescent white rainbow moonstone effect. Please note: While the stone (and ring) is by no means fragile, reasonable care should be taken to ensure long life of your ring. Wash with warm, soapy water. Avoid heat and harsh chemicals. Ultrasonic cleaning and steam cleaning should never be used.

This ring is a US Size 7.25 and ships in 1 to 3 business days.

►14K Gold Filled is a federally regulated amount of 14K gold (5%) rolled on to a base metal, usually brass. It is the next best thing to solid 14K gold. It has no nickel in it and is considered hypoallergenic. It will not tarnish or discolor your skin. The finish will last one to five years under heavy wear (like a ring - though I have lots of rings and bracelets that are still great looking after 20 years) and a lifetime under occasional wear (like an ear cuff or earring).
