One of a Kind, Carved Leopard in Cherry Amber Pendant in 14KGF
Measurements:
Overall length (top of bail to bottom of the pendant) 41.96mm/1.65inches
Width at the broadest point 22.75mm/.90inches
Bail opening is almost 35mm long - a slider style - meaning any number of chains or wide byzantine style chains.
The amber is a 30x22mm oval cabochon, with the image of a leopard carved into the back. It is wire wrapped in 14K GF wire. It is the exact pendant used in my Prong Pendant Tutorial. Created in 2008
The pendant and stone are being sold as a set - the pictures of the stone shown unset is for reference only - I am not going to cut the wire off. If you want to use the amber in another project, you can cut the wire off. Because of that possiblity, there are no returns accepted or refunds on this pendant. I know you, dear reader, wouldn't do that (remove the amber, return the wire and expect a full refund), but sadly this happens all too often, and I needed to emphasize no return/refund for this pendant.
The amber has been heat treated, but it is still amber, and a semi-soft 'stone'. If you do remove the amber to put in another project - just no projects that require high heat, such as a torch or kiln.
Care and cleaning of my handmade jewelry is fairly simple. Please avoid harsh chemicals, sonic, and vibrating cleaners (tumblers) - and in the case of Amber, no extreme heat, such as leaving it in a hot care, etc.
Jewelry should be removed before engaging in strenuous activities, such as yard work. My handmade jewelry isn’t fragile, but it isn't indestructible either.
