Pink, Red, and Gold, Opal Dangle Earring, Vintage Swarovski Crystal handmade Earrings, made to order in Sterling Silver or 14K GF, (shown in 14K GF)
Pink, red, and gold harlequin glass opals are a man-made glass stone featuring a mosaic-like pattern of pink and multi-colored flecks. Unlike rare and expensive natural harlequin opals, these are vintage Czech and West German glass cabochons designed to imitate the natural gemstone. They were handmade in the mid-20th century. The stones have a translucent, milky pink or "harlequin pink" base. The surface features an internal play of colors, or "fire," typically consisting of sparkly flecks of pinks, oranges, and occasionally blue or green. This effect is achieved with colored glass and silver foil layered inside. No two stones are identical to one another.
These earrings are available in Sterling Silver or 14K GF. (The crystal settings are silver-plated or gold-plated to match the rest of the earrings. The ear wires are Sterling or 14K GF.
Earrings will be very similar to the ones shown, but since they are handmade, they may not be 100% exact. I also do my absolute best to match them as close as possible, but no two are exactly alike.
Just shy of 3 inches long from your ear piercing to the bottom of the lowest drop. Please note: For hygienic reasons, earrings may not be returned.
