Vintage Ruby Red Glass Cabochon Sew Ons. This particular style is sometimes referred to as Bombays.
These stones are set in a high quality 4 pronged, open back, gold or silver plated settings. (Does not include finished jewelry shown as examples).
These are 13 x 7.8mm pear shape dark ruby red, and have a smooth rounded top and gold foil back. My pictures really don't do them justice - dark red is so hard to photograph.
