Vintage West German Pink Fire Opal Glass Cabochon Pear Shape Sew Ons. These stones are set in jewelry quality 4 pronged, open back, sew on settings. Available either silver or gold plated - your choice. (Does not include finished jewelry shown as examples). The listing price is for ONE PAIR (2 stones) with settings.

These are 13 x 7.8mm pear shape and have exceptional color flashes of pinks and golds and a little blue. These were handmade in the 1950's and 60's in West Germany, and no two are exactly alike. They are so well made, they really look like genuine opal.  I hand set these myself, and make every effort to get 2 that are close in appearance.
