The top crystal of these earrings is vintage Cardinal (purple). The rest of the stones are all vintage Swarovski Alexandrite crystal in several sizes and shapes. They are available in Sterling Silver or 14K GF. (The crystal settings are silver-plated or gold-plated to match the rest of the earrings. The ear wires are Sterling or 14K GF.
Swarovski's "Alexandrite" crystal color is a vibrant example of a color-changing stone, inspired by the natural gemstone alexandrite. In natural or fluorescent light, it appears as a light purple or violet hue. Under artificial (incandescent) light, it transforms into a light blue or soft blue. This color-changing effect seems "magical" and is a defining characteristic of Swarovski's Alexandrite, much like the gemstone it imitates.
Earrings will be very, very similar to the ones shown, but being handmade, may not be 100% exact.
Just shy of 3 inches long from your ear piercing to the bottom of the lowest drop. Please note: For hygienic reasons, earrings may not be returned.
