14K Gold or Sterling Silver Opalescent (Mercury Mystic) Topaz Handmade Ring

This handmade ring features a stunning 6mm round (roughly just smaller than 1 carat) Opalescent Topaz, sometimes referred to as a Mercury Mystic Topaz. The stone is absolutely brilliant, prettier than any diamond in my opinion, but a real bear to photograph! The mirror like finish argued with my camera something awful. The mirror finish, dazzles in the light, and refracts nearby colors in a dazzling array.

The beautiful 'filigree' style setting features 8 prongs to securely hold the stone. The ring shown is in all Sterling Silver - also available in 14k SOLID Gold prongs with the band 14K GF (not plated) wire and beads.

The genuine Swarovski side crystals are Smokey Mauve ABX2, a very, very pale mauve/purple with a mirror like ab finish. I have nearly 200 Swarovski Crystal colors, so if you'd like a different side crystal color, you can put that in the personalization box, or hit the 'message seller' button, and I'll gladly create a custom listing for you.

While my rings are definitely not your average flimsy, delicate wire wrapped ring, they are not indestructible.
My rings hold up really well, but some of it does depend on how hard you are on them. I have 2 I wear on my left hand, day in and day out, though I do take them off for harsh things like yard or house work with strong chemicals. I also take them off if I'm going to get really grungy, like when working on the car or in my pond.
Because the bands are beaded, they will collect dirt, but cleaning is easy with a soft toothbrush and Dawn dishwashing liquid.
