The focal of this gorgeous ring is an extraordinary 12x10mm oval Vintage West German Glass Opal. They were handmade in the 1940's and 1950's, and no two are exactly alike. Fire in the stone can be viewed from every angle, and folks are always amazed when they see the one I wear, and find out it's not a 'real' opal. The high quality stone settings can be either Silver or Gold plated to match (compliment) the bands.

Your ring will look very, very similar to the rings shown in the photos, but being hand made no two rings are ever exactly alike.
I select each glass opal, to make sure it has as much fire and shine as possible - I NEVER use a stone that I wouldn't want for myself! Some stones have tiny flecks of aqua, with a light pinkish tint or "milky" quality to them - each made to mimic a real opal as much as possible.

►14K Gold Filled is a federally regulated amount of 14K gold (5%) rolled on to a base metal, usually brass. It is the next best thing to solid 14K gold. It has no nickel in it and is considered hypoallergenic. It will not tarnish or discolor your skin. The finish will last one to five years under heavy wear (like a ring - though I have lots of rings and bracelets that are still great looking after 20 years) and a lifetime under occasional wear (like an ear cuff or earring).
