This rare, one-of-a-kind gold-rutilated quartz pendant has a lot of history. Handmade in mid-1991, it is one of the very first pendants I ever created. It features a deep stone filled with stunning golden threads.

The golden needles inside catch the light in a special way.creates a very striking accent; one of a kind, never to be repeated. It has lived safely in my design drawer for 35 years, but it deserves to be worn and and enjoyed instead of hiding away in a drawer.

12.2mm deep - One of the 1st pieces I experimented with in the back to keep the pendant from 'rocking' while worn.
Bail is approximately 5.5mm diameter. A chain is not included.
►14K Gold Filled is a federally regulated amount of 14K gold (5%) rolled on to a base metal, usually brass. It is the next best thing to solid 14K gold. It has no nickel in it and is considered hypoallergenic. It will not tarnish or discolor your skin. The finish will last one to five years under heavy wear (like a ring - though I have lots of rings and bracelets that are still great looking after 20 years) and a lifetime under occasional wear (like an ear cuff or earring).
