Sterling Silver Pendant 9mm (3.15ct) Lab-Created round Alexandrite Color Change Gemstone.
I adore Alexandrite - that amazing purplish hue and color-changing quality under different lighting conditions never fails to get noticed. Since it is lab-grown, it has all the beauty of a natural Alexandrite stone, along with its color-changing properties, but it is far more affordable and has no inclusions or flaws! Available with or without a chain.
The 18" chains are available in 2 styles:
(1) Sterling Silver vintage (slightly oxidized) flat long-short design with a tiny lobster clasp. The chain is from my personal stash (unused) and is more than 25 years old.
(2) Argentium, 2.2mm long-short style with a tiny lobster clasp. Argentium silver is a modern, tarnish-resistant alternative to traditional sterling silver, with higher purity (93.5% or 96% vs 92.5%) and a higher germanium. It is considered hypoallergenic, harder, and requires less maintenance.
The 8mm pendant loop will accommodate a chain or clasp up to 6mm in width.
